So, I don't think that ANYONE in my office really understands how the carbon copy (CC:) feature works when they are sending emails. Just in case you aren't familiar with the way this feature works, let me explain it:
When you send an email to someone and you want someone else to see the email, you CC them on it. For example, when I am sending an email to someone at a different company I can CC someone else in my company so they know what I said and who I said it to.
I get emails from people from other companies who CC others in my office. Then, the people in my office forward me the same email. I can end up getting the same email two or three times like this. This is very frustrating to me for a couple of reasons:
1. The email was originally sent to ME and they were CC'd
2. It's redundant and inefficient
3. It's just plain annoying
So, anytime you see that you are CC'd on an email, please, for the sake of my sanity, do not forward the email to anyone who was originally sent the first email.

Music in my head
Why is it that the days when I am happiest are the days that I cannot seem to stop singing? On the days when I feel the worst a simple song can put a smile on my face that lasts for hours. Here's an example:
Today I was sitting at my desk listening to heated words and expletives being exchanged a few offices over when a song popped into my head-"When peace like a river attendeth my way, when sorrows like sea billows roll, whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say it is well, it is well with my soul". The "discussion" that was being held lasted for over an hour, but my song filled me with peace and comfort and it was well with my soul. I think that many times God puts songs in my heart that help me get through days when all I can hear all around me is negativity. That song was exactly what I needed today. I needed the peace of God and there it was.
Now, I'm going to shift gears a litte bit. I am talking about music tonight, there are a few more things I feel obliged to mention.
1. George Strait- the king of country music... My husband fell in love with me while we were on a roadtrip. The other person in the car had fallen asleep and since I didn't think he could hear me, I sang every word that was on George Strait's 50 Number One Songs cd. Well, he heard me and decided that I was the girl for him.
2. Brad Paisley- since we have been together Brad Paisley has written several songs that are about us... ok, so maybe Brad Paisley didn't write them specifically about us, but they could be. Especially his new song "Then". If you haven't heard it, you should listen to it. It is great!
3. I was raised on country music. "Heartland" by George Strait (I really like him, can you tell?) and "In My Dreams" by Josh Turner reminds me of the home I grew up in and the home that I want to build with my husband.
4. Music will always be apart of my life and is actually more apart of my life than I ever thought it would be. My husband is taking 20 hours of music classes this semester, so that in the near future he can become a music minister. With as many hours as he is taking it is fair to say that school (actually music) will be pretty much all he is doing this semester. I guess it's a good thing that I like music! ;)
